UK,slim Qrto HB,no dw/dj,as issued,1st edn.VG.Owner's handwritten blue ink name+ address to books owner panel and subsequently crossed through,to reverse of front free endpaper,but no clip to same - absence of publisher's printed price.White +yellow lettered title,but no date.Though undated,as all annuals before 1965 (1966 was first cover dated annual),indentified as 1959 by the 3 bands of Korky firstly sitting in a canoe on a river,and ending up sat sailing in an oversize unbrella in the last,as Hungry Horace has jumped from a bridge into the canoe and sunk it,in the second.Publisher's colour pictorial cartoon illustrated paper-covered card boards which are slightly grubbed as usual /normal.Slightly rubbed - shelf wear to bottom edges of boards with top edge bumped,rubbed and slightly worn also.All corners bumped and rubbed with top two corners showing some corner tips slight loss.The bumping of the affected corners has caused corresponding corner tips of pages with similar dog-ear creases to them internally.Top+fore-edges inevitably aged/ toned; contents bright,tight,clean, generally solid and sound - pp9 witha few random red,blue and green ink doodle lines to page's top and inner edges,two small closed tears to foot of last page and with just minor page-edge toning.New replaced(?) cloth blind spine.Overall a solid copy of an early annual,the publisher's 21st.
